Wow....it is "The Fighter!" Premiere Night!!

This was really an awesome movie. Inspiring and definitely a true story! Bale and Wahlberg worked well together. Bale was acting like a dumb 'ole fool in the movie and Mark's character was the compassionate role-he wanted everything: his mother's love and approval and to be heard and not to be walked over, a lady in his life to love, and a brother who would support him and not support his drug and alcohol habits. It really made me feel good with how it ended! I LOVE when actors make movies that are based on true stories for the simple reason is that it can show that the way people behave in today's society, they behaved almost the same exact way in the older years and we can see how far along society has come in certain perspectives in out lives. I connected with Mark's character in this movie because he wanted it all-the love, the parents, his life-his voice!

Today, was a great and exciting day for me. I found out from a very awesome website that Miley Cyrus with Kelly Osbourne are filming a movie here called, "So Undercover." I am NOT a Miley Cyrus fan-BUT I do LOVE going out and seeing the set up for the movie to film, like the lights, the celebs acting and filming right before my eyes, taking down the props and talking with the production team. All that gives me a thrill because I have a passion for the Entertainment Industry. Now, if a celebrity was filming there that I love and adore, yes, I would go to see them and that would be an added bonus because I get excited even seeing a set! She will be here filming for three months a man who works for the film crew told me today. Since she was filming on Coliseum Str. near where Sandra Bullock lives, I decided to walk over to her home and take some photos. While walking through the Garden District, I saw some other large and expensive and historical house and I could not resist taking pics of them! The Garden District is the most exclusive area in New Orelans! It is so peaceful, quiet, and with all the trees-hence the name, "The Garden District!"

2010 GAME #13: NO Saints vs. St. Louis Rams

The Black and Gold really outdid themselves in this game..especially Malcolm Jenkins! Oh my goodness..he made two interceptions and scored a awesome touchdown on one of the two--then Lance Moore scoring ANOTHER touchdown. It was awesome and any time any of the Saints players score a touchdown or when the Punter punts the ball and it is a player that I have had the pleasure of meeting--I just pop out my iPod & show me with them! I cannot explain it, but it is such a wonderful feeling knowing that I have met some of these guys and I have memories with them. When I see them on the screen I am yelling that this is my boy or Geaux Bush or whomever and it is simply wonderful like the score from tonight's game: A final score of 31-13! WHO DAT!

What's The Cost of "Love & Other Drugs" Opening

This movie should have been called "Lust and More X-rated Sex!" Truthfully, they were showing the upper body parts to both the two main characters in the film and I was just in awe about that..I KNOW that in some films, sex sells and that skin is revealed, but in this movie-Jake and Anne really gave away all the goods! They were having sex everywhere and on any and everything! But, placing the sex aspect away, this is a role that I have never seen Hathaway portraying though it had a ton of sex and sexual references in it-she played a very serious role with the occasional jokes-she did a dynamite job at acting like a woman with a disease with no possible cure. The ending was perfect and it touched me and I KNOW it touched a lot of other people. True, the majority of the film was funny and sexual, but the more it was ending, the more serious it became and it was inspiring what Gyllenhaal said to Hathaway at the end when the bus pulled off at a rest stop...truthfully wheat they both said was true and proved love-forget about the other drugs! Believe me!

Catching Up With "The Tourist" Opening Night

If you see this movie-it will not take you long to figure out why it is called "The Tourist." Angelina Jolie really really did an outstanding job in this movie! I loved every minute of it. I was reminded of "Casino Royale" and "The Italian Job" because they were in Venice as well. What struck me as off is how Depp was speaking only Spanish in Paris and in Venice! Lol! True, there was some minimal humor and there was a twist in this movie also concerning both major characters! I was not expecting what happened to happen! I had been looking forward to seeing this movie ever since I first saw the preview for it. Depp and Jolie worked sorta well together because I felt like Jolie put her all in this movie, whereas Depp did not to say that he is the #1 top-rated Actor in the business! All in all, I loved this film and I want to see it again in theatres and then again and all over again on DVD....

T and T stands for me, Travis and my girl, Theresa! Me and Theresa use to work at the same movie theater back in the day and we have been friends ever since.. We had not seen each other in a long time so I suggested that we go out to Best Chevrolet and see two of the Saints players that were going to there and we did. We had a great time seeing them, talking with them, and taking pics with them and of course, getting autographs! There is no limit to what they can sign when they are at Best Chevrolet...afterwards, we went to a little burrito place in Metairie and had some food that was killer great and talked about movies and caught up since it had been a while. It was cold tonight and it was great spending time with a rue friend of mine! :)

The Rock is "Faster" Premiere!!!

This was truly a low-budget film. It had a very good plot summary! Although the acting was very weak and not all that spectacular as I had hoped considering that "The Rock" was the main star. The movie poster for this film may look exciting, but trust me-it aint all of what you expect and a bunch of no-name actors star in the movie...Besides Dwayne, Billy, and Maggie Grace, that is it! It did have some hardcore shooting and killing goryness to it, which is why I rated this movie 3 out of 5 just for the gore that I saw. There was a twist in the movie that I did not expect, but I most LIKELY missed it because it was kinda boring and I was trying to stay awake! LOL! Other than that, the movie was not all that great! I suggest that if you are wanting to see it-DON'T! The End!

2010 GAME #12: WHO DAT NATION vs. THE BENGALS

This was a very close game and a very close call....for one thing, I have learned now that when the Saints are in the lead in the first three quarters, it seems like no matter who they play-they always come back and tie up or keep the score so close that I start to have high blood pressure...the Saints have been winning off luck these last few games because the scores have been so close like 34-30, which was the score for today. They need to beat the other teams with scores like 34-4 or 43-13...something like that. Don't get ME wrong. I am glad that they are winning, but to say that they were the Superbowl Champions...they are NOT playing like that at all. They say that they learned their lesson after each game on the Locker Room show, etc. but they keep messing up! Ugh! Why?!?!

The "2010 Christmas First Presidency" Devotional

I have not gone to any of the Christmas Devotionals no more than 5 times in the 8 years that I have been a member of the Church. Why? I have no idea-but no matter if it is a General Conference or a devotional that I went to tonight...just to see and hear the prophets speak and to see them-I just feel a sense of peace and calmness knowing how much I love and respect all of them and the messages and the songs that the choir were signing tonight really touched me & I really loved the messages again that they delivered esp. President Monson. That man is humorous while compassionate and understanding. He really relayed some information to me that I was just pondering about just this past week...Heavenly Father is always allowing me to hear or get confirmation on things through someone or something and I step back and just wait for the answer and it will be made available to me in some form or fashion-I feel like he is my guard and is always around me at times and that is not a bad feeling to have!!!

"Young and The Restless in NOLA Debuts!"

This week Monday began the episodes of the TV Soap Opera, "The Young and the Restless" that I have been watching since I was young-like the age of 6 or or something......

On Monday, November 29th was the first day that it debuted...New Orleans scenes will be on the air all this entire week until December 3rd. But on Monday they debuted the Jazz Funeral Scene and that was the scene that I actually saw them film right there in the cemetery with my own eyes and I began to shed some tears when I saw the scene and also because I was reminded of some of my Aunts and Uncles that died this past year and the one relative that died during Hurricane Katrina in '05.

That is why I chose this picture for this particular posting! Two other actors are not in this picture, but I do have pics with them in my older blog posting entitled, "Tinseltown...Travis!" It was just unreal to see it on TV and in real life. I know that a lot of people were jealous that I had and always have the opportunity to meet famous celebrities. I have no idea why-but that is people and their feelings, but seeing that scene made me happy and blessed that I got to meet them and witness what I did! :)

The Holidays Are Approaching

For some strange reason, I love the cold and the snow and the holidays. Sometimes, the mere thought of seeing family & friends shopping, and talking together, or even looking and buying presents and wrapping presents together or alone, trimming the Christmas tree...I miss all of that. I do not have anyone to do anything for me for Christmas, my family is kinda not the typical jolly and fun-loving family, it is all busted up and no one gets along with no one, so I kind of feel comforted when I see people in the mall laughing together, shopping, and just spending time together, I do not have any friends here in LA. to even do that much with. Being alone kind of sucks, but I find a way to deal with it. People whom I thought were my friends turned out to suck and abandoned me when I wanted/needed them. Venting about my feelings really makes me feel more sad--but at least I am not holding onto the pain and keeping quiet. I am always happy to know when certain friends will be coming to town and want to see me; that always makes me feel good. I have 4 couples of friends whom I would buy something for and would do anything for and they are the Bybees', Hancock's, Collins, and the Spencer's. I still do love Christmas and the entire month of December because it was Christ birthday and it needs to be celebrated, not by gifts or material things-but just by love, laughter, prayer, and togetherness....in my opinion...Regardless of how I may be feeling at this time-it will never take away the love that I have for the season and how much I enjoy it ever year!

Black Friday Madness 2010...Geaux Shopping--Again!!

I was hearing all week all over the news and radio that places would be opening up at 3 and 4AM and trust me-I was not one of the customers out there at that time in the morning! I know that stores need the income and money, but as cold as it was, do u think I was waiting outside in a line...Get real! I went out there at 1PM, where all I could do was walk in and if I missed great sales because I had to be there before the sun was out...TOO DAMN BAD! I got me a Sony Viao notebook form Best Buy, and then I go some colognes that I have been wanting for a long time that was out like: Euphoria, Bleu de Chanel, Hugo Boss, Yves Saint Laurent, Tous, and that was it....then I got me every color that they had EXCEPT purple in 100% Cashmere Sweaters and some Extra Fine Merino Wool sweaters a well, a Kenneth Cole Wool jacket and a waterproof one...at prices like that-I could not help myself.....and that was all and charged it all on my Macy's Card...so I can pay it back in steps....it all cost less than $500, so I did not go anywhere near my limit...things were so so so cheap that it could not be passed up. I love fashion, love to stay looking fresh, and smelling good so thank you Black Friday! I'm done! Wait until after Christmas--as the Terminator would say, "I'll be back!" Lol

HAPPY THANKSGIVING: 2010 GAME #11: DA BLACK N GOLD vs. COWBOYS

Well, this year, Thanksgiving was NOT memorable...Me and my father went to The Treasure Chest Casino and watched the Saints Game and yes, the Saints won! The Final Score was 30-27. The 1st & 2nd Qtr.'s the Saints were on a roll and the Cowboys had a score of 0 at the end of the First Qtr and finally made a 3-point field goal kick in the middle of the 2nd Qtr. We did not have the traditional meal for thanksgiving like a turkey and all that because it was just the two of us, so we made a lil meal that I cooked just for the two of us...since I saw the movie, "Burlesque" last night kinda as a Pre-Thanksgiving movie, I did not go tonight because movies are very costly. Before we did go to the Casino, I had to work form 4am-12Noon and that was time in a half because today is a national holiday so that is more money for me! Yay! But once I get the cash, it will go all on bills and not me though! So sad....
