This was really an awesome movie. Inspiring and definitely a true story! Bale and Wahlberg worked well together. Bale was acting like a dumb 'ole fool in the movie and Mark's character was the compassionate role-he wanted everything: his mother's love and approval and to be heard and not to be walked over, a lady in his life to love, and a brother who would support him and not support his drug and alcohol habits. It really made me feel good with how it ended! I LOVE when actors make movies that are based on true stories for the simple reason is that it can show that the way people behave in today's society, they behaved almost the same exact way in the older years and we can see how far along society has come in certain perspectives in out lives. I connected with Mark's character in this movie because he wanted it all-the love, the parents, his life-his voice!Blogging has become a major part of my life now, thanks to my friend, Rachel for bringing me on-board to this. I blog about almost every major exciting thing that happens in my life: the good, the bad, the depressing moments, the exciting moments, etc. It is a good way for me to become more expressive and communicate with the ones close to me! I share a B'day with Matt Damon, Kristanna Loken, Chevy Chase, Paul Hogan, and Sigourney Weaver.

2010 GAME #13: NO Saints vs. St. Louis Rams
e of meeting--I just pop out my iPod & show me with them! I cannot explain it, but it is such a wonderful feeling knowing that I have met some of these guys and I have memories with them. When I see them on the screen I am yelling that this is my boy or Geaux Bush or whomever and it is simply wonderful like the score from tonight's game: A final score of 31-13! What's The Cost of "Love & Other Drugs" Opening
This movie should have been called "Lust and More X-rated Sex!" Truthfully, they were showing the upper body parts to both the two main characters in the film and I was just in awe about that..I KNOW that in some films, sex sells and that skin is revealed, but in this movie-Jake and Anne really gave away all the goods! They were having sex everywhere and on any and everything! But, placing the sex aspect away, this is a role that I have never seen Hathaway portraying though it had a ton of sex and sexual references in it-she played a very serious role with the occasional jokes-she did a dynamite job at acting like a woman with a disease with no possible cure. The ending was perfect and it touched me and I KNOW it touched a lot of other people. True, the majority of the film was funny and sexual, but the more it was ending, the more serious it became and it was inspiring what Gyllenhaal said to Hathaway at the end when the bus pulled off at a rest stop...truthfully wheat they both said was true and proved love-forget about the other drugs! Believe me!Friday, December 10, 2010
Catching Up With "The Tourist" Opening Night
If you see this movie-it will not take you long to figure out why it is called "The Tourist." Angelina Jolie really really did an outstanding job in this movie! I loved every minute of it. I was reminded of "Casino Royale" and "The Italian Job" because they were in Venice as well. What struck me as off is how Depp was speaking only Spanish in Paris and in Venice! Lol! True, there was some minimal humor and there was a twist in this movie also concerning both major characters! I was not expecting what happened to happen! I had been looking forward to seeing this movie ever since I first saw the preview for it. Depp and Jolie worked sorta well together because I felt like Jolie put her all in this movie, whereas Depp did not to say that he is the #1 top-rated Actor in the business! All in all, I loved this film and I want to see it again in theatres and then again and all over again on DVD....Thursday, December 9, 2010

"Young and The Restless in NOLA Debuts!"
This week Monday began the episodes of the TV Soap Opera, "The Young and the Restless" that I have been watching since I was young-like the age of 6 or or something......On Monday, November 29th was the first day that it debuted...New Orleans scenes will be on the air all this entire week until December 3rd. But on Monday they debuted the Jazz Funeral Scene and that was the scene that I actually saw them film right there in the cemetery with my own eyes and I began to shed some tears when I saw the scene and also because I was reminded of some of my Aunts and Uncles that died this past year and the one relative that died during Hurricane Katrina in '05.
That is why I chose this picture for this particular posting! Two other actors are not in this picture, but I do have pics with them in my older blog posting entitled, "Tinseltown...Travis!" It was just unreal to see it on TV and in real life. I know that a lot of people were jealous that I had and always have the opportunity to meet famous celebrities. I have no idea why-but that is people and their feelings, but seeing that scene made me happy and blessed that I got to meet them and witness what I did! :)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING: 2010 GAME #11: DA BLACK N GOLD vs. COWBOYS
Well, this year, Thanksgiving was NOT memorable...Me and my father went to The Treasure Chest Casino and watched the Saints Game and yes, the Saints won! The Final Score was 30-27. The 1st & 2nd Qtr.'s the Saints were on a roll and the Cowboys had a score of 0 at the end of the First Qtr and finally made a 3-point field goal kick in the middle of the 2nd Qtr. We did not have the traditional meal for thanksgiving like a turkey and all that because it was just the two of us, so we made a lil meal that I cooked just for the two of us...since I saw the movie, "Burlesque" last night kinda as a Pre-Thanksgiving movie, I did not go tonight because movies are very costly. Before we did go to the Casino, I had to work form 4am-12Noon and that was time in a half because today is a national holiday so that is more money for me! Yay! But once I get the cash, it will go all on bills and not me though! So sad....
