Open Casting Call for the Tom Cruise Poject!

Today there was an open casting call for background actors for the upcoming Tom Cruise movie called, Oblivion. The Casting Director whom was leading the casting was telling people about how to pose when we were getting our picture taken. This will be a very sad and depressing film so she wanted a very sad and depressed look on our faces, but zeroing in on our eyes because the eyes tell everything. She was really very sincere and is really a people person because she was asking for kisses and hugs! Lol! I will not find out if I got the part for like a few weeks, if I do get a phone call, that would be awesome, and if not, I do not get discouraged. I keep on keeping on!

Zach, Lisa, Oliver, and Kate Visits NOLA!

My good friends visited me on today and we had a very interesting day together! Lol! Their kids are very vibrant and so full of life, but need to settle down a bit, but I now do believe that rumor about Terrible Two's! Sooo totally believe it now and Oliver is two and Kate just tuned 1 last week, actually. It really amazes me at how Oliver's vocabulary has grown. Kids say that coolest things ever and how he pronounces words is really AWESOME to say the least! He was talking about Star Wars, McDonald's, etc. everything just going on and on. While we were at the parade tonight, Oliver loves and adores Elmo. So we got to the parade just as he passed, so I was running with Oliver to try to catch the float on the other side of the street and Oliver was saying, "Wait Elmo, Waaaaiiit!" It was so adorable! We eventually caught up to him though. The weather was so cold that we had to cut the night short at the parade and then we went to set some hot chocolate at McDonald's, but the kids had fallen asleep and we all were pretty grateful for that because they were active all day! Lol! We then drove to the airport and we saw one plane land right over our heads as we were talking and joking rather loudly! Lol! We then preceded to go see Sandra Bullock's home but there was a parade passing on St. Charles Av. and we could not go, so then we headed back and they dropped me off at home and we said our goodbyes. They arrived at my house at like 3:35ish and I had my bedroom all set up with blue lights and a motion lamp with the lights all off and the music to Twilight playing, so as they entered, they could watch it because Zach had never seen Breaking Dawn-Part One before. They loved the set up. I was cooking my Chinese dish for them as they watched. They both loved it and said that it was better than Cane's and Chang's! What a compliment huh? And that is how we spent our time together! It was really great to see them again after 3 years! :)

Who Is SAFE? Really!!!

I want to give this film 5 stars simply because of Denzel, but the film was very cheap to film. The picture quality was very poor & it was very much compatible to "Drag Me to Hell." Good film, but very mediocre acting, but still a good film. The killing in this movie was very ruthless, dangerous, & hardcore. In certain instances, a cast member would kill someone, knowing that they are dead already-like 100% gone & will shoot them either once or twice more & either make a facial expression while doing it &/or say something funny! I like that. Denzel provided everything: the action, the drama, the suspense! He is a MASTER @ his craft! Truly an expert at acting, esp. in his scenes in the end of the movie! He captivates the screen with his performance! In the beginning & middle of the movie-u can relax & then all of a sudden something very unexpected happens & it catches you totally off guard! I love that mystery in movies! Safe House only had two recognizable celebs: Washington & Reynolds. That is sad, but a true fact, but Denzel was the star, obviously!

Advanced Screening of "The Vow!"

Throughout the entire film, I kept flashing back to Tatum's "Dear John" film because some parts of the movie were very plain and was not grabbing my full attention. The film as a whole was outstanding! McAdams & Tatum gave very good performances and it felt really real even though this film was based on true events. The opening was GENIUS! It was so sensational! The car accident that follows, they way it was put together in slow motion-that sets the initial stage for the audience to sympathize with Paige's situation right there. As the movie progresses, Leo gets frustrated, but he could have expounded on that and not be so nonchalance about Paige's condition. I mean, we know that he cares, but it really odes not show it until the scene where he tells Paige that he is NOT her punching bag-that is the scene that has the love, the fire, the passion, the sincere emotion. If every scene where those two interact could have been like that...Wooow, I would have shed a tear or two! Lol! But it was still good nonetheless. I, personally wanted something to happen and it did not, but it is heart-warming how it ended and it is romantic, but was still disappointing that what everyone wanted to happen between those two did not happen and if you see it you will understand this last sentence! But there were a lot of "sweet little jokes and comments" made from both main characters through the film that had to make you laugh, giggle, or just take a deep breath and just ponder...

Krewe of Little Rascals Parade '12

I never thought in a million years that I would catch as much stuff as I thought I would! I caught like 4 teddy bears and cups and a super-large big bead. I always set a goal to get on of those colossal beads, but never did I think that it would be this easy! I went right up to the boy and asked him for one and he just gave it to me! I was so blessed and glad to have had one! People try their very best to get one and it was just handed to me because I asked politely! Go figure! All the stuff I caught today, I will give to my friend's kids when I see them on Saturday! I love being a good person and always thinking of others! :)

Wanderlust Night with Brent

I saw this film with my buddy Brent whom I film with and we laughed our socks off! Lol! Whew! NOTHING can prepare you for the obscene nudity that is releaved in this film! This movie was like a forest-porn group orgy meditation ritual western! Lmao! From start to finish there were sexual references, sexual acts, sexual jokes, and sex! I loved it! I saw a lot of negative reviews about this film, but I disagree! It was good & very entertaining! Aniston & Rudd really did a superb job! The acting, the scenes, the jokes, the facial expressions were all good! I just cannot believe the part towards the end of the movie where all of those elderly people were running in SLOW MOTION! Wooooww is literally all I can say! The birthing scene is another one that I was dumbfounded by, & another scene with Rudd talking to himself in the mirror for like 2 straight minutes about "something specfic" is mind-blowing & will make you laugh uncontrollably & your eyes will be so red! Rudd's sister-in-law in this film is funny too just by what she says & her mannerisms! This film should've been rated RX!

PART 1 OF FRIDAY NIGHT: Dinner @ P.F. Chang's China Bistro

My Dessert: NY-Styled Cheesecake! How I love NYC! :D

Chinese New Year Envelope Surprise! THEY have to OPEN-NOT ME! :(

My Meal: Sweet & Sour Chicken w/Beef Fried Rice

Words cannot express how today felt. This day will be a day of history esp. for me! All my life, I have wanted to go to PF Chang's but I could never afford it because I felt like it was so exclusive and very expensive, well after many days of working on the set of Dogfight, I was expecting such a lofty sum of cash and after I took care of my bills and things, I set aside the cash to dine at this restaurant and today was the day! I had been waiting all week to go today because I have never been and the service and the food were both sensational! I talked with the Manager of the place and told him I minored in HRT and the customer service was excellent. He really valued and appreciated my input. God blessed me as tow here I could afford to go here and I had a tear in my eye because this was a dream of mine that I made come true with NO ONE's help, NO ONE telling em that I could NOT afford, I worked very diligently to get here and I sat there at that table alone and ate slowly, and enjoying each and every minute of my dining experience! I felt like royalty! I am so very blessed and thankful from the moment I entered in until the moment I stepped out! :)

PART 2 OF FRIDAY NIGHT: This Movie Should Be HANGED and FORGOTTEN!

This movie was a combination of Mr. & Mrs. Smith plus Duplicity and those two movies are the equivalent to this one. The movie had a very good storyline-I cannot deny that, and I have never heard of this actress before in my life, but to have that tough look and rough exterior about her, she should have been kicking butt and killing people more faster like Jet Li or any other female assassin I've seen in motion picture films! That was one of the major things that I saw about her character in the movie, she took too long fighting people to say that is what she was trained for -to take people out! The ending was not to be expected, but I can deal with it because it leaves itself open for a sequel-hopefully better than the first! HaHa! Overall, the movie had its ups and its downs, but it was okay. I cannot say it was good, cannot say it was great, cannot say it was average. I was NOT feeling this movie the way I thought that I might! Tatum had a very small part to play in the film and when he scenes did come up, he did not do that good of a job. I love Chan and all, but I have to keep it real right now...I was disappointed in the film. I truly feel that it could have been much better and I hate movies that start in the present and then flash back and fourth, seeing a movie for t he first time and trying to keep up with what is happening is not my kind of film and that is how this movie was also. Another attribute that I did not appreciate about it! I could see why on Opening Weekend it cam in at #5...

TODAY has been the GREATEST DAY EVER!

First, I can start off by saying that the very good chain of events started when I was at the Dollar Store (no shame in broadcasting that because things are too expensive), when all of a sudden I get en e-mail from a Casting Director saying that I should call the office in one week. I have no idea as to why! I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is for a speaking role, a recurring role, etc. I have been striving so hard to reach that goal! I called my best friend, brady to tell him the news because Brady has been the MOST supportive friend that I could ever ask for! His encouraging words jsut do it for me. He says thigns that I already know about myself, but hearing him say them means so much to me and I love that he has so much faith in me!

Second, great thing that happened-my friend Nate may be coming to Louisiana for Mardi Gras! It has been so long since I have seen him! That'd be so cool!

Thirdly and lastly, my good friends Zach and Lisa surprised me tonight with a call saying that they are definitely coming to Louisiana in two week before the move to California fro Zack's job and they want to see me. I adore those little kids of theirs and Zach and Lisa! I am very excited to see them!

I cannot believe all the miracles that have happened to me today! I feel truly blessed!

"One 4 The $$$"--How Much to See This Show? LOL

I felt like this film was a repeat of "The Bounty Hunter" with Aniston & Butler, but in this film Heigl was going after more than 1 person. Lionsgate tends to distribute movies that basically are on the borderline of sucking. The movie did NOT suck, but at the same time, it did not appeal to me as I thought it would. I didn't read the book, so I cannot say if the film deviated or what, but there were funny scenes & the Grandma-oh, now she made me laugh right out loud. Heigl made me LOL as well, but everyone did an average job. If I haf the option to see this at a screening or cheaper, I would have taken either of those choices! Shepherd did an outstanding job for her role! Acting like a ghetto hoodrat is her dream role! Lol! She plays it all too good! All in all, it was a cute film with laughs-not great laughs-but laughs nonetheless....

Screening "The Grey"

The very first 15 minutes of the movie was so slow & boring as heck....but once the plane crashed-it's ON! There are literally NO words to describe how those blood-thirsty wolves were making me jump in my seat in the theater! It is always simple for me to complain that a movie is NOT scary enough or it could have been less predictable. This film was the OPPOSITE of that! I was on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE movie! I could NEVER tell when the wolves were going to attack or kill someone. I tried to prepare myself in some scenes because I thought the moment would come, but didn't-and when I did not; it did! Lol! I LOVE & APPRECIATE movies like this because it is very suspenseful & not predictable at all because some of the things that happened, I truly did not see coming & the killing was not gory killing, so no worries if you thought you would see limbs being torn apart & such-they kept it very minimal where that is concerned. The ending, I HATED-but it was crucial to end it that way & you will understand why....it is SUSPENSE.....WHO WON YOU THINK?

Last Day on the set of Broken City!

Well, today was a great day because I got to see Mark Wahlberg again! He acknowledged me TWICE by waving towards and directly to me. It was a huge feeling knowing that a celebrity recalls me and Catherine Zeta-Jones did the same thing and I got to talk to her like three times. I could not pass up any opportunity to talk to her! She is stunning in person! The scenes went great and I had a great time filming with him, her, and Actress Alona Tal, and Actor Barry Pepper.

VAMPIRES LIVE IN THE "Underworld: Awakening in IMAX 3D!"

DYNAMITE film! It kind of was like a slow-going cartoon film & didn't look very realistic, but I still enjoyed it! I loved watching it in IMAX 3D! There were a lot of cool fighting & somewhat gory fighting scenes. Those lycans were scary & when they jumped directly at me-coming, literally off of the screen was nasty & just disgusting! I jumped a few times because it was very freaky! Lol! The way that it ended, a sequel will be made....more Selene is coming & Kate Beckinsale looked great in her tight leather outfit & she was a 100% badass and I liked her playing a role like this because it is rare! The movie had awesome killing, action, & mystery!

Filming Dogfight This Tuesday-Thursday!

It was fun, but words cannot also describe the 100's of people that were there. The circumstances that we had to endure were not painful, but still, nonetheless, odd. I ran into a friend of mine while I was shooting, well waiting to shoot a scene on Thursday, Jan. 19th and it was good to see him after all this time! We had a short visit, but I was still shocked to see him! Lol! The scenes that we taped had Dan Aykroyd and John Lithgow! Both guys were super cool and funny! Very down to Earth. Woody Harrelson dropped by the set to say hi because he is in town shooting another movie I am working on with him and these three days were fun but was murder on my feet, I do not know about everyone else, but they were on mine! Whew! But I endured. The Director knows me by name and told me that he always loves seeing me on set because I have a great personality and that something that you love to hear esp. when the Director is telling it to YOU! By you I do mean me! Lol!
