"The Crazies" was.....

FREAKING CRAZY!! I was expecting this movie to be a replica of "Legion" or "The Happening" or "The Lovely Bones" because it just looked weak and had no power...I was wrong...it did not have the power and suspense that I was looking for that I had anticipated, but I still liked this film....I jumped at a few parts and it kept my attention and it was gory as well...This film had the correct and dynamite name of "The Crazies" because the town had some CRAZY people in it doing some CRAZY things and it was just CRAZY! One of mah favorite elements in a horror film and something that I thought would happen did NOT happen and that element I love as well...some parts were predictable and others were not....all in all this was a good movie and the Zombie-typed people were really making me laugh because of how they were acting...I mean they were shot in the forehead and were still moving around doing crazy stuff! When I laugh in a horror movie, that is a good thing as well! The way that it ended there may be a Part 2.....

A New Change.....It Was Time!! Definitely!

I woke up on today and just had a wonderful idea 2 spice up my current living room layout, so I decided to change it up and with a big television that I have no matter where I place it in my apartment, it will block some thing...at least now-it is not blocking out my balcony..so if I want some fresh air and just to stand or sit outside, I can do that...I USE TO DO IT BEFORE BUT I had to squeeze behind my TV in order to get to the balcony, now I do not have to..it is a small space that we have but I love the change!!! WHAT YOU THINKING ABOUT IT?!?!?!?!

"$hutter Island" Vacation

This movie was not really gory, but more like intended for all Pyschology majors! I felt like I was sitting in "The Devil's Advocate" movie again! I hate movies where it makes you think one thing, but the end it is something so very totally different! Don't get me wrong! This was a great movie, but it was like confusing as all hell if you did not pay attention; esp. to close detail. Leo DiCarpio was great in here! He played this role! The scary parts in here did not make me jump at all..I jumped at a gun being fired when I was texting! Lol! I mean-catching the audience and not being predictable is great! That is what I like in movies...let's get rid of the predictable & it was not horrifying as the previews led on for it to be!

Mardi Gras 'BKA' Fat Tuesday: February 16th of 2010

Mardi Gras was really very low key and fun because all throughout the carnival season...I was catching all the stuff I wanted before Mardi Gras day, even though I do, I still like to go on on Fat Tuesday! It was chilly and I was just taking more pics than trying to catch-once I caught that black and gold huge beads........belive dis:I was satisfied. Here are some pics of the cool floats! Still proud of my Saints!! Amost every float had something to do witht hem winning the Superbowl! Geaux Black n Gold!

"The Wolfman" Premiere

This movie was very slash and hand on kinda gory! It showed the Wolfman killing each and every last one of his victims! It was all over the screen and the really funny thing about it is that they was humor in a movie! I mean certain horror films have that horror that is just made for it but for a movie like this-it was more like Sherlock Holmes or a low-key novel movie. But to see all the gory sections throughout this film really made it good. I was expecting it to be a little but better knowing all the advertising it was getting on the television, but you gotta make that step to go and see it to truly find out ya know? I liked it for the gory parts and the killing, the story lien was weak. It needed a lil bit more push to be great, but Benicio del Toro really did a great job and so did Anthony Hopkins!

Travis Rings N "Lundi Gras 2010" with Zeus Parade!

What I have been trying to catch all season long!!

It was kind of chilly outside & the people on the floats were NOT really throwing off too much exciting things-I finally and I DO MEAN FINALLY caught a big huge bead! I have been trying 2 get one for the entire carnival season, and I have been excited ever since I put the bead on my neck! I really had a okay time at this parade because I am still sore as hell from the last one last night! Lol

7th Parade: Krewe of Bacchus feat. King Drew Brees!!

Everyone was at this parade and they were all there to see #9: Drew Brees! I mean Bacchus is a very infamous parade that runs on St. Charles Ave. and down the famous Canal Str., but to see the MVP Quarter reign as the King! You gotta see this for urself. I caught a Black and Gold Superbowl football directly form him and the messed up thing happened as I was walking down St. Charles Ave.-I had to use the restrooms and they had those little portable restroom things and people and local business people were actually charging us $2-$4 to use them! Charging us money to piss and stool! I simply cannot believe it and I still cannot until his very damn day! I mean, people will do anything to make money...and you would rather see us piss on yourselves or pee in public and get arrested rather than to take down ur ego,and let us go? People are sick and that is y the South is so much in peril! This is y I hate Louisiana! Sure it is rich in culture and other facets, but in every other aspect, it sucks! This was my very first time at this parade and it was intense, sorta like Mardi Gras day! I saw drunk people, weed, kids throwing beads at the people on the floats and all other obscene behavior, but it is to be expected in NOLA! ONLY HERE! ONLY FOREVER! ONLY EVERY YEAR!

Movie Premiere of "Valentine's Day"

This was a very great film! It had ONE concept through and through, and that was that Taylor Swift simply cannot act! She should NEVER be cast as an extra or anything like that unless she plays a damn mute!! She is NOT a natural! Now that is outta the way! I loved the little stories with all the couples and how they all were sorta connected because it was Valentine's Day! I thought that this was a really funny and cute film! I would see it again! I love romantic movies a lot and this was one that I really enjoyed! There was a twist in it that I did not see coming with Eric Dane and Bradley Cooper! I was thinking one thing, but these two characters were-OMG! You have got to see it in order to freakin' believe it! But do see this movie though!

BTW-This movie had all the major actors/actresses in it! I wish 16 of the greatest actors get together and make many more films form all genres like horror, drama, suspense,and all that!! :)

6th Parade of 2010-"Krewe of Centurious"

It was so very cold out tonight and my face and hands were freezing but when I stopped texting and put my hands in my pockets with out any gloves on-they warmed up pretty rapidly! Thanks for that jacket of mine with special powers!! Not a lot of people were out tonight....still musta been re cooperating from the Saints Fallout Party on Tuesday of this past week, eh? They were really throwing the stuff off the floats tonight! It seems as if when there are not a lot of people, everything is fine and when there are a lot of people, I can NADA!! How does that work out???

"From Paris With Love" Premiere

This movie was phenomenal! Simply great! Superb! There was blasting & unpredictable situations throughout this entire movie! John Travolta was the best in this movie! He made up for his crappy movie "Taking of Pelham 123." This movie was so action-packed and it was great! It is a definite must see!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never thought that they would have had a dull moment in the whole entire film! It was gory (the killing). it was simply PERFECT! This movie beat "Taken" in the aspect of action! I am sorry to say that, but it did! This movie should have beat "Dear John" opening weekend! Lol

5th Parade of 2010: "Krewe of Thor!"

Everyone must have been hungover and very very very tipsy because not one was out here tonight for the festivities and it was VERY EASY to catch things! Enuf said! Lol!!

There are NO words that I can think of to describe how intense this parade was tonight! This was quite a victory celebration for the Saints! I got to shake hands with Garrett Hartley, Reggie Bush, Drew Brees, and Jeff Charleston! It was like seeing movie stars, but if I did see celebs, I would be acting more crazy than than I actually was tonight! The coverage of this parades was CRAZY! The streets were packed with more people than I see on Mardi Gras day! We supported and loved our team! I am glad that they won and they celebrated for sure tonight! It just sux that so many people want to be around them and they can't! :(
