I Meet Celebrities....Jason Segel from "I Love You Man" and Ed Helms from "The Hangover"

Me with Ed Helms...the star of "The Hangover."
Me with Jason Segel: The Star of "I Love You, Man!"

There is a film being filmed in Metairie, La. right near my home and I got the opportunity to take photos of the production and with the two actors who will star in the film debuting in Spr. 2011, it is called "Jeff Who Lives At Home." It stars Jason Segel from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "I Love You Man." I was running all the way down the street to get a pic with him and he along with his co-star was so nice and friendly! I felt like I was in the presence of royalty...to get that close to an actor and to take a pic..I can say my life can end happy knowing how much I love movies!! Lol

The second pic that I took was with Ed Helms, he was the man whom lost his tooth in the funny movie, "The Hangover" n he was just as friendly! The girl whom I asked to take the picture of us did not know how to take the pic horizontally and I had to stop my pose and show her...aint that sad and she works with the filming crew and she does not know that? Are u serious?? Anyhow, she took the picture with my eyes closed and did not even ask us e ere ready...a common pic taking rule/law...I was pissed at her for that but I still love the pics because it was with an actor! :) Today was a great day!!! They have the street blocked off for the car accident scene, and all that....man oh man, how excited was I! I went up to him and I said, I see you got your tooth back and I said to Jason, "I know mah farts too!" They both laughed and said I must love movies and I said, YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!

"Nightmare on Elm Str." w/Mah Boyz

I went to see this movie with 12 people and it was packed and I was anticipating it being sold out...but it got sold out just as we got done purchasing our tickets!! Lol! Imagine that! First off, you cannot re-make a classic as my friend, Tayna says and I agree to..but this movie was very good, I was jumping because some scenes caught me off guard when I was relaxed and actually into the movie and there was no quiet music and all the little things to forewarn you of a scary part. That is a very crucial element when making horror films, I think. This movie was 2 G's: "GOOD AND GORY!" The gore was PERFECT! It was not fake gore as in other horror movies, it was grrreat and I would want to see it again! It was really really really good! No doubt, the only thing that I did not like was that Freddy Krueger. He was not having that UMPH like the original Freddy! Even though his face was severely burned, his face looked so different that the original Freddy's and that was very noticeable to me! All in all, this was a superb movie and I recommend that you see it! It will have to be in the weekend...mark mah words!

Week I of Training + Great Attendance= Week I Completed!!!

Well, we only had one test this week and already we lost 2 people of our 15.....there are a few rules to training...we have to take seven quizzes and we have to score at least an 85% or higher on all seven and we can only fail one. If we fail one we can re-take it, but we need perfect scores from that point forward-I scored a 90% on my first one and I only missed two because I was overconfident and I misread the question..I will not make that mistake again! The majority of them I got correct...so that is still a good thing! All week, I was impressing the training instructors and my Supervisor, Alan and he told me that if he gets the Ok from his boss, he will want to hire some Supervisors and they will be chosen ONLY from my group, which have only 13 people in there now. He is really looking at me and that would be so great! I have a passion to become a Supervisor in any job that I pursue so you know how I must be feeling right now! Pretty darn excited! Everyone is telling me that I KNOW so much, how I act/dress, and even ALAN AND SOME OF THE OLDER PEOPLE IN THE CLASS ARE WANTING AND ASKING FOR MY ASSISTANCE! That makes me feel great when anyone can come to me and ask me for my help! I am shining in this class! I thank God for bringing this job to me! :)

Jennifer Lopez' Backup Plan....Wow!

I thought that this movie was cute, and predictable, and I guessed the ending part...I thought the ending part would have happened a little bit more it initally did, but that the hell...it was funny, romantic, and sweet! Jennifer Lopez did a really good job-NOT superior, but her acitng was very original in this movie-but still a funny film and I enjoyed it! Jeniifer is still mah girl! :)
The birthing scene was the MOST FUNNIEST part in the entire movie!! LMAO!!

Job Training Began Today!

Classroom Instruction @ the Radisson Hotel-Airport began today and all it was basically was fifteen of us on laptops taking these courses and then a post-test for each course afterwards. That is all that today was and tomorrow we just have to pick up right where we left off @. We have to be dressed casually for this training for the next three weeks...I have no idea what is ahead, but I do know that on-the-training does not begin until May 20th! I was going through the courses really fast and paying attention to the major stuff but I saw and learned about so many different things....the loading bridge at the airport, ticket breakdown, how to open the Airbus door, the different types of classes of fires, all types of acronyms....it was a lot to digest and I cannot tell you all of it-but it was TOO MUCH! It starts at 8am every morning and lasts until 3pm, but we do get paid for it, which is a good thing! I am so looking forward to earning money-u have no idea! I came home and fell fast asleep and I do not know why I was sitting down all day today at the training session taking test and test after test! Lol

How Good Was "The Losers?"

Here is my saying, "Be A Winner...and do NOT see "The Losers!" I was not anticiapting this movie to be a flop...but it was a flop. I was expecting a lot of action and it was like the only two characters whom made this movie good were Pooch and Jensen! I really wanted it to be a cool fun movie, but it was not!

Frontier Airlines Is MAH NEW JOB!!!

The Airline I Work For

Dressed to Impress For The Interview! Wish that mah hair was cut, though! :(

After months and months of job hunting...the time has come that today I earned my title of Ticket Agent/Baggage Handler for this particular airline! I am so excited I cannot contain myself at all! I have been loving aircraft's and airports ever since a few years ago..I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be working for an airline because I do know that is is very difficult to land a job with an airline! The HR Recruiter did not even interview me, she saw how I was dressed and my qualifications, and my BA Degree and hired me on the spot with no questions asked! God is great and I was the FIRST person hired! Let's hope that last part does NOT apply to me! Ya know how it goes: "First hired...last ____!"

To be able to watch so many planes take off and land and to do the boarding process each and every day will give me such a thrill! I love interacting with people and I majored in sociology so I can deal with any and all types of personalities and I minored in Travel.Tourism...it seems like this job fit me like a glove! I wnat to thank all of my friends that congratulated me either by calling, via text message or Facebook!

Is There A "Death @ A Funeral?"

To say that this movie had such a great all-star cast, it was NOT the movie that I had envisioned. I seriously think that the preview should have been the entire damn film, really!!! Granted, the scenes with the midget and the Oscar were hilarious 2 me....but other than that, I was not dropping out of seat laughing hysterically like I did in other movies such as "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins" or "I Think I Love My Wife." I know that this movie will not be ranked first or second place opening weekend.....it cannot be, speaking candidly! And I KNOW that I was not the only person thinking this way about this movie because EVERYONE in the entire audience would only laugh crazy at the midget and Oscar scenes! :(

The #1 Kid n Utah Recieves His Gift!!

On today, my heart jumped for when the kid on my shoulder in this picture recieved his birthday gift today that I mailed to him last Friday! He is the coolest kid ever and has the best parents anyone cold ever ask for! I sent him a 'lil Nike jacket and a New Orleans Saints pin and a tractor shirt because I know how much he loves the movie, "Cars!" Lol...I am so glad that I sent Master Braxton his gift and he loved it! Glad he had a AWESOME birthday and loved all the gifts and love he recieved from everyone around him! As Mr. Royce would say to me, "Keep going strong, Dr. White!" :)

I will say, "Keep going strong Braxton! I love 'ya lil man!" :)

Congratulations 2 "Chase & Paula" AND "Logan & Sara"

Soon to be..... Logan and Sara: Getting Married in July of 2010

Soon to be.....Chase and Paula Jeppsen: Getting Married in August of 2010

I felt like this whole past week I have just been flooded with engagements! Let's say Tuesday some calls/texts me and says that they are engaged...next time I hear the same news is three days later! Oh my goodness! I cannot believe this! Engagements are happening too quickly! It CANNOT be a sign for me to get married because marriage is something that I am so not ready for and I will have to know the girl for more than 2 months, I can assure you of that much! Not saying that these couples have known each other for two months, but nowadays it seems as if people are getting married and have not even been knowing each other fully for no more than 6 months! That soul mate and I just feel that this is him/her line that I hear is kinda hard for me to grasp! Lol! It may be legit, but..hmmm....anyways I am excited for mah friends in these pics! I am excited for Logan and Sara and for Chase and Paula! Congrats!

The previews did not do anything...but make me pray that April 9th get here faster and faster!! This movie lived up to the standards that was in the preview! It was funny, funny, and funnier!! Drop dead laughter is what you will get esp. in the car scene and the stripper club scene where the two of them are dancing! LMAO seriously!!!

"Hot Tub Time Machine" Premiere

I was hearing from all my friends & other rating websites-that this film was supposed 2 b so hilarious!!! I mean I laughed out loud, but I did not laugh and give it all that I had like I do in certain films! This movie was a good comedy...not OUTSTANDING, but good! There were some really, really, really funny parts that you just could not help, but to laugh on, but I felt that this movie was not all that I expected it to be...other people may think that it is the #1 comedy movie in America, but I do not. It was good and had some minimal humor, but not all that.....

"Chloe" Premiere...

As soon as I saw the preview for this film, I knew immediately that I wanted to see it, but at the time, I did not know that it would be a low-budget film because it was only limited release and not wide release...this is a type of movie for older people, but me personally, I love drama and suspense type films...this movie reminded me of "Obsessed" because the main character after which the film is named is obsessed with someone and it with whom you least suspect. I loved trying to figure this out-but there was twist and boy was I fooled into feeling sorry for the WRONG character...I hate being wrong, BUT IN a way I love it because it shows that the movie has EARNED the title of Suspense/Drama! Because it fooled me into thinking one way, but another way happened! More movies to to be this way. It had a very good storyline, but the acting was weak and it need a lot more umph to be better! I did not fall asleep, and trust me, that is a very good thing! I liked it, not loved it, but it had that sex, spice, betrayal, seduction to it that earned it to be in that genre classification!

Clash of the Titans 3D Premiere

I never intended on seeing this particular film, but I guess the thing that made me change my mind on it was when I saw it was coming to theatres in 3D! For some reason, if certain movies are in 3D-I want to rush to see them, but I need to calm that down because it is a little bit extra to enjoy the 3D perks because you have to pay an additional fee for the glasses! :(

There were not too may 3D effects in this film and that is what made me remember Avatar, it was just a BLUE love story of sorts and had no umph to it at all to say it was a Box Office success for weeks in a row!

I could follow this film and this is NOT my type of movie either, but I definitely enjoyed it! I suggest seeing it in regular format because it was not 3D..If you took the glasses off it screen looked distorted because u needed the glasses, but other than that...NOPE!

Mah Super Saturday: Full of Great Experiences!!

Well, first off-I hope that everyone had a very safe and blessed Easter Sunday/Spring Break! Next, I went to visit with my mother and she made Gumbo and it was good! I just chilled and visited with her for a while and it was good.

Next, I caught up with my 17 year old nephew, Tyler whom I had not seen in over 5 years and I cannot believe that he is 17, about to go to his Junior Prom next month, preparing for college, is driving a Blue Mustang, and is responsible and does not drive like a crazed maniac, is very intelligent, and respectable, and does not talk/text while driving...all this I learned about him in TWO DAYS! The pic for this blog was of us on Easter Sunday!

Lastly, I went to visit some close friends of mine, Tanya and Sabrina. I met them Post-Katrina and we have been keeping in touch ever since. They just purchased a computer and I was showing them all sorts of little things that I knew and they called me an expert! LMAO! I know a lot of BASIC things and if that makes me smart to someone whom does not know anything about computers I will take the compliment! :)

I just love helping people out wherever I can and whenever I can!

Finally! Today Is Here for "Why Did I Get Married Too"

I have been waiting for the release date for this movie way back in December of 2009! I get really excited when any Tyler Perry film hits theatres! I love his movies so much and this was the FIRST movie where he made a sequel to it and I loved the title, it was very catchy, "Why Did I Get Married Too?" (as in part two). This movie was two hours in length and it was very good. his movie was a lot better than his first film & the movie theater that we had went to was a hole in the wall place. The carpet was all riped up and the theater just looked very country! There were spills all over the benches and floors! Not the AMC Experience that I am accustomed to. We went there because it was cheaper and mah friends all thought that the price was $2 cheaper and we would be guaranteed seats, but the seats were hard and it looked like we were in a place of that for homeless people. It was a horrible and cheap setting! The $1 movie theater could beat and put this theater to shame! Too bad the dollar movies is gone now! :(

All in all, this movie came in second place...."Clash of the Titans came in first place and I kinda knew that it would! But I still loved it and I cannot wait to see it on DVD because Tyler Perry makes great films!
