I Meet Celebrities....Jason Segel from "I Love You Man" and Ed Helms from "The Hangover"

Me with Ed Helms...the star of "The Hangover."
Me with Jason Segel: The Star of "I Love You, Man!"

There is a film being filmed in Metairie, La. right near my home and I got the opportunity to take photos of the production and with the two actors who will star in the film debuting in Spr. 2011, it is called "Jeff Who Lives At Home." It stars Jason Segel from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "I Love You Man." I was running all the way down the street to get a pic with him and he along with his co-star was so nice and friendly! I felt like I was in the presence of royalty...to get that close to an actor and to take a pic..I can say my life can end happy knowing how much I love movies!! Lol

The second pic that I took was with Ed Helms, he was the man whom lost his tooth in the funny movie, "The Hangover" n he was just as friendly! The girl whom I asked to take the picture of us did not know how to take the pic horizontally and I had to stop my pose and show her...aint that sad and she works with the filming crew and she does not know that? Are u serious?? Anyhow, she took the picture with my eyes closed and did not even ask us e ere ready...a common pic taking rule/law...I was pissed at her for that but I still love the pics because it was with an actor! :) Today was a great day!!! They have the street blocked off for the car accident scene, and all that....man oh man, how excited was I! I went up to him and I said, I see you got your tooth back and I said to Jason, "I know mah farts too!" They both laughed and said I must love movies and I said, YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!

"Nightmare on Elm Str." w/Mah Boyz

I went to see this movie with 12 people and it was packed and I was anticipating it being sold out...but it got sold out just as we got done purchasing our tickets!! Lol! Imagine that! First off, you cannot re-make a classic as my friend, Tayna says and I agree to..but this movie was very good, I was jumping because some scenes caught me off guard when I was relaxed and actually into the movie and there was no quiet music and all the little things to forewarn you of a scary part. That is a very crucial element when making horror films, I think. This movie was 2 G's: "GOOD AND GORY!" The gore was PERFECT! It was not fake gore as in other horror movies, it was grrreat and I would want to see it again! It was really really really good! No doubt, the only thing that I did not like was that Freddy Krueger. He was not having that UMPH like the original Freddy! Even though his face was severely burned, his face looked so different that the original Freddy's and that was very noticeable to me! All in all, this was a superb movie and I recommend that you see it! It will have to be in the weekend...mark mah words!

Week I of Training + Great Attendance= Week I Completed!!!

Well, we only had one test this week and already we lost 2 people of our 15.....there are a few rules to training...we have to take seven quizzes and we have to score at least an 85% or higher on all seven and we can only fail one. If we fail one we can re-take it, but we need perfect scores from that point forward-I scored a 90% on my first one and I only missed two because I was overconfident and I misread the question..I will not make that mistake again! The majority of them I got correct...so that is still a good thing! All week, I was impressing the training instructors and my Supervisor, Alan and he told me that if he gets the Ok from his boss, he will want to hire some Supervisors and they will be chosen ONLY from my group, which have only 13 people in there now. He is really looking at me and that would be so great! I have a passion to become a Supervisor in any job that I pursue so you know how I must be feeling right now! Pretty darn excited! Everyone is telling me that I KNOW so much, how I act/dress, and even ALAN AND SOME OF THE OLDER PEOPLE IN THE CLASS ARE WANTING AND ASKING FOR MY ASSISTANCE! That makes me feel great when anyone can come to me and ask me for my help! I am shining in this class! I thank God for bringing this job to me! :)
