Filming Updates!

I have NOT made one specific entry as to how I feel about filming. Sure, I may blog about certain movie or TV Shows that I have filmed on and how exciting the experience is, but I have never written in general, how it feels to me. Period. So here it goes---

These are MY reasons why I LOVE filming:

1. It is something that I have always had a passion for and I feel blessed to have this opportunity,
2. I never wanted a career in film production or becoming an actor, but it seems as if it chose me and I am following through with it because of my love for movies,
3. I get to work with kind and wonderful producers and directors (have not worked with Steven Spielberg or James Cameron yet....Lol),
4. I get to talk to real-life Actors and Actresses and ask them how they got started and I get advice and tips form them,
5. I get to eat lunch with all types of filming people such as PA's, Assistant AD's, celebs, interns, visual effects people, etc., and finally
6. I am making good friends and I am learning at how movies are made and all the work that goes into making them a hit and learning about what the Director of Photography does, how long it takes to edit a film, why teaser trailers are made---then official trailers, different types of cameras, the atmosphere, how stunts are performed, and much more!

FINALLY: Be sure to watch for ME in the following films scheduled to air next year in 2012--more to come, of course...

"So Undercover" (Miley Cyrus)
"Contraband" (Mark Wahlberg)
"Looper" (Bruce Willis)
"Lay the Favorite" (Catherine Zeta-Jones and Bruce Willis)
"Loft" (Wentwortrh Miller and James Marsden)
"Medallion" (Nick Cage)
"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" (Benjamin Walker)
"21 Jump Street" (Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill)
"Freelancers" (50 Cent and Forest Whitaker)

Advanced Night w/Theresa!: Da Wolfpack is "Hungover" Again...GREAT NIGHT!!!

Have 2 say this FIRST: Alan’s wedding gift 2 Stu was a shocker @ the end of the film! It matched well with Stu! I saw the Advanced Screening of the movie & it rocked! My eyes were blood red from laughing so hysterically! I mean the FUNNIEST two characters in the movie were Stu and Alan. Phil & Doug were also funny-but Stu & Alan were making me laugh so much. I mean the movie was so much better than the first. The photography of the film was spectacular, the actors did a great job, it was funny, it was exciting and some of the things that were seen in this movie were X-rated, I can tell you! It totally freaked me the hell out! These are things that I never expected to see! They caught me off guard! All the scenes with that monkey were hilarious! All the facial expressions that Alan made were priceless. The format of the movie/opening credits were exactly similar 2 the first Hangover. The movie was excellent from beginning to end! I will probably go see it again and have to pay for it-but I am telling you that it will be so totally worth it for the laughter! When I exited the theater, I told the Warner Bros. representatives, because they were asking all the patrons how the movie was—that I loved it very much and that it was funny and that I had the pleasure to meet Ed Helms last year (2009) on the set of his new film, “Jeff Who Lives @ Home.” The movies are high, the economy sucks, but The Hangover II….PRICELESS!

What Is Up With The "Bridesmaids?" Tonight

Equal 2 "The Hangover" except for the fact that no one went missing in the movie. I did not want to see this film, but more and more people kept talking about it, I noticed that it got outstanding reviews, more and more guys went to see it than women, FB statuses were posted about it, so I had to see if all this was correct and it was definitely confirmed. This film was very funny! It had a ton of sexual references and R-rated images. Some stuff it in made me laugh so hard that my eyes were on fire! I could not catch my breath because it was funny from start to finish. It was not a chick flick to me; just because a movie is centered on all women does not mean that a man cannot appreciate a good comedy movie! Kristen Wiig really, really, really outdid herself in this movie. Her body language and movements were perfect! She played the "LEAD ROLE" in this movie-there is no doubt in my mind about that! Job VERY well-done! Also, the bathroom sink scene with Megan was by far, my FAVORITE scene in the entire movie!

Filming A New Film: "Lay The Favorite!"---Filmed w/Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bruce Willis, & Frank Grillo!

Today was my very first day on set of the new movie, “Lay the Favorite.” I filmed with Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bruce Willis, & Frank Grillo. I did make contact with Catherine Zeta-Jones while we were filming the Airport scene (made it look like JFK Airport in NYC) & I told her that I loved her in the Ocean’s movies, Intolerable Cruelty, Entrapment, and the Zorro movies. She spoke with her accent and told me thank you and it was nice to meet you too, Sir. Her accent was very strong & she was dressed so beautifully. I was in a scene with all three of them and in the scene I am walking right next to them as they are walking towards the cameras. You will be able to see the back of me, but not the front. The other scene that I filmed was at a restaurant and I was located at the bar drinking or sipping red wine, which was really grape juice. Lol! It tasted great and the only action that I was given was to pretend to talk to a guy next to me at the bar. To make the scene look more real, I asked for a menu and the two of us looked it over together. I love just making up ways to be noticed and I can land my very first speaking part, etc. All in all, today was a very great day and I was so happy to make contact with at least one of the three stars. Frank Grillo did make a joke at me but he was walking away as he was joking and I did not want suspicion to become an issue, so I did not comment on his joke, but feel terrible about it though. Bruce Willis was acting like a down to Earth kid in the scenes. He was singing, screaming, etc. He is truly a nice gentleman and it is always an honor and privilege to film with him and anyone who is well-respected and kind.

Back 2 The Future or Back to...."Filming Medallion!" @ Six Flags Resort

Me and Victor

The Stunt Man, Jared!

Well, it was my first day back on the set after being on a one-month hiatus from Nick Cage's upcoming 2012 suspense film, Medallion! We were filming @ an abandoned amusement park (JazzLand 'aka' Six Flags) and did it look like a complete disaster ghost town there!

When I first arrived on the set today, I was so excited to see how they transformed an old/vacant place like this, as I stated just above into a set in the French Quarter to look like a Mardi Gras Festival! I also was excited to see my filming buddy, Victor, whom I have not seen since February when we filmed “Justice for Natalee” together. When we saw each other, we grabbed each other at the same time and hugged one another like we had not seen each other in ten years!

The facial expressions we had amazed even me. I have no idea why we were soooo happy to see one another again. It was really special to me to feel appreciated the way Victor treats me! The entire day that we were filming, we hung out together, joking, had lunch together, etc. He even saved a place for me in the long anaconda line to sign vouchers to get paid and exit the set. What an amazing friend, huh? It never ceases to amaze me @ how production can spice up a set and invent a total different atmosphere and vibe.

Once filming started, the first scene was about all the extras partying around and pretending to catch beads from other extras throwing them and confetti falling and making it look like a party zone while Nicolas Cage jumps on top of taxis and does a fast running action scene. My friend, Jared was in a Medallion cab that Nick jumps on top of and he calls him an asshole in the scene! HaHa!

My friend Jared is a professional stunt person. Later on, an Production Assistant comes up to me and tells me that he wants me to be a float rider instead of a Mardi Gras Partier, so I get into this amazingly hot costume and throw beads, cups, teddy bears, etc. and it was so much fun because I have never ridden on a float a single day in my entire life. I so enjoyed it but was sweating and on top of that I had to have a mask on! The only celebs that I filmed with were Nick Cage & Josh Lucas.

Lucas arrived on the set at the end of the shoot and had only on short scene and it was revealed that he would be “in a lot of gory pain” in the part he filmed today! Look for it in 2012! Today was a really fun day and I am glad that I got to see funny filming buddies of me: Erroll, esp. Victor, Jared, and Ryan! B certain 2 look for the scene in 2012! I have been featured in so many parts in this movie, I cannot keep track, but that is a good thing! :)

Filming HBO's "Treme" After TWO MONTHS!

We were filming at the Republic Club in New Orleans today for this scene. It was a short day. I call from 7am-1pm very short! I filmed with Steve Zahn again and Lucia Micarelli. The scene was really a concert and Zahn was singing a James Brown song and he was dressed like the white Carlton Banks form Fresh Prince of Bel-Air! Lol! He was up on stage shaking his butt, jumping off the stage as fans greeted him, and just a character! Steve is really a funny guy! Totally! When lunch time came, he sat right across from me and we talked and Lucia did too. I always feel so nervous around celebs. I do not know why, but I do. I love seeing them in movies and now to be filming with people that I have been seeing on my TV for years...it is kinda unreal, but nonetheless, I love it! :)

Advanced Screening Night: Call a "Priest in 3D" Quick!

I don't know why I was interested in this film! I guess that I saw the 3D visual effects in the trailer and assumed that it would be good! Boy was I ever tricked! This movie sucked! I started to drift off and that is so not good-EVER! There were some parts in the film that freaked me out a little bit that I wanted to vomit and then there were other parts where I was not so freaked out & the very ending of the movie on the train was exciting! I LOVE to see bombs and explosions and all that stuff! I love the ACTION in a film; no matter the genre! I'm so glad that I saw the movie for FREE because it was n Advanced Screening and the 3D glasses were free as well and if I had to pay for this movie and saw it in 3D: I would have to demand a refund or a Re-Admit Pass and go see another movie or save it for a movie that I would not mind seeing again if I was bored or something! There is nothing positive that I can say about this film at all; truthfully! I hope that a sequel will not be made! The End! This was a horrifying film-but NOT A HORROR FILM!

What If "Something Borrowed" Was Not 4 U?

I've always said TWO girls cannot be best friends & be after the same man! This movie was VERY entertaining. Kate Hudson was really acting and showing her acting capabilities! She was funny, she was wild/reckless, she was entertaining, she was pissed, she was confused, angry, any role that she needed to portray in this film-she did it: PERFECTLY! I loved her character. The actor who played her love interest was very good also, he could have put more emphasis into his character, but nonetheless his acting along with Ginnifer were very similar and they belonged together in the movie! Lol! I think that this film was a remake of movies such as Bride Wars or The Wedding Planner where the Bride wants to marry a certain guy but falls for her GF's best friend or brother, etc. Very predictable. But I thought that this movie was very funny, sweet, romantic, and should have come out into theatres on Valentine's Day weekend instead of on Mother's Day weekend! Ha! Kate Hudson really outdid herself in this movie and I enjoyed watching her perform in this film! The way she was dancing and somewhat bossing people around and having that charisma where whatever she wanted, she went after it no matter the costs and speaking her mind; just being bold. That is what attracted me to her character!

Seeing "Thor 3D" Premiere!!!

This movie was good & had great visual effects and sounds—the works! But the two things that disappointed me about the film was that it was not as good as I thought it was going to be & secondly, I saw it in 3D and there were no 3D effects throughout the entire film. They had a very select few parts that were 3D, but it was very very minimal. Hopkins played his role of the Father really well and the one part that keeps sticking in my mind is when Darcy asked Thor to smile because she was going to put a picture of him on Facebook & he smiled-everyone in the auditorium smiled! Ha! Thor was more of an action/comedy movie because I was laughing more or less at 10 minute intervals. Not saying it was a bad thing, but I was expecting it to be a serious Marvel movie like Iron Man, Spiderman, or even Avatar. I was looking forward to seeing this film for months & now that the time has come, I feel pissed because I do not feel that it lived up to any high expectations. Natalie Portman was not even seen a whole lot in the movie and that was just wrong because I would say the film was centered on her and Thor. In short, like I stated-it was good, but if it wins #1 it will be because of the acting of Thor and all the visual/special effects!

T (heresa) & T(ravis) Gets REALLY GREAT Snowballs!

Me and My Snowball!!

Theresa and her Snowball!!

There has been this famous and very historic snowball stand in New Orleans for 75 years and they have had the reputation to have the best snowballs in town, the ice is so fine that it melts in your mouth and that the taste of them are great! So me and Theresa went & got some of took pics in front of the place! It was soooo good! :)

I got the Bubble Gum flavor and it was soo good! All tourists and everyone needs to be going to this place! Delicious!

Advanced Screening of "Jumping The Broom" w/Theresa

I saw the Advanced Screening of this film! This movie was funny and very real heart-felt. This was a movie that needed to be centered on Mother’s Day because it truly is about the “mothers” in the movie and what they are trying to represent. Paula Patton really did a phenomenal job and Angela Bassett, Meagan Good, Tasha Smith, Mike Epps, especially, and Loretta Devine made this movie! Mike Epps had me cracking up in the theater! The scenes that Tasha Smith had with Lil Romeo were soooo funny! Tasha makes me laugh in any comedy role she portrays! Lol! Loretta Devine had me refelecting about my mother and other mothers in the world and how they need to step back and examine the huge blessings that they have in front of them and to be careful not to lose them and to really know the definition of a “mother.” The entire cast did a great job and there was a SHOCKING TWIST in the movie that will shock you! All the scenes were great, I LEARNED from this movie so many things about either family or friends. Very crucial life lessons can be found throughout this film. For real! I just have NOTHING bad to say about this movie at all! It was all about coming together, change, family, peace/harmony, etc. I will be buying this movie on DVD-there is no doubt in my mind about that! Everyone did a spectacular job!
