2010 GAME #1: Saints vs. Vikings Game

The first game of the new 21010 Season AND
I was in the Superdome for it! A 14-9 victory.
Taylor Swift performed for the kickoff and
everyone loved here. I never knew that
Louisiana was so country-orientated. I thought that we were a rap state! Lol. Every time I see another team take the lead, I always always always assume that the Saints will lose and never recover. I was so depressed when Garrett Hartley missed two field goals kicks! I was like WTF?? I love the sport of Football now, esp. that the Saints are the Superbowl Champs!! Words I never thought that I would utter in my entire life! Drew Brees has a lot 2 do with the victory and how he leads the team as the Star Quarterback!

There was this FREE Pep Rally in Championship Square & I went there and they had a ton of Saints Players mingling with the fans and dancing and taking pictures of the Lombardi trophy and with the Saints Cheerleaders, etc. It was very very awesome. This was the greatest thing ever before the regular season starts! I took a picture with Saints Player #78 Jon Stintchomb AND two of the Saintsations (the Saints cheerleaders). They were giving away FREE game day tickets, balls, flags, a ton of awesome stuff if YOU answered certain questions correctly. I got to see Pierre Thomas, Lance Moore, Darren Sharper, and Marques Colston. I think that it is truly amazing at how the Saints are actively involved with the community. That is what just astounds me. They love us and we love and support them. Drew Brees is simply amazing for making the unity happen. He is responsible 4 a lot of fantastic things are are happening in NOLA! I thank him for that! He is always out and about in NOLA and he is involved with the community more than any other players. He is tremendous!

This movie was funny....it was not drop dead fuuny...but it was okay! I really enjoyed the humor and the jokes given by both major lead actors Drew and Justin...I was laughing-but not laugh out loud laughing excessively......

That's We Do....We Take...."The Takers" Premiere

The action was good in this movie & it had an all-star cast! I went to especially see Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, T.I., and Matt Dillon. Each of these guys did a great job at capturing the audience...all the other guys were plain and did not do the job I thought that they would. I would say that this movie is nothing but "The Italian Job" all over again. The scenes that I love were all the killing and fighting scenes. I particularly loved the scene where Dillon and Hernandez were chasing Brown! That was awesome and the killing was like "Set It Off." The current recession was in this movie as well, it never ceases to amaze me @ how the celebrities feel the the economic downfall and incorporates it into the movies nowadays! There was a lesson 2 b learned in this movie and it is not "take" what you want-but there are consequences to all actions if u do take......

"The Switch" Opening

This was a kind of slow film getting to the romantic/comedy part! This was a weak film, but had a ton of funny jokes and scenes in it.....the child was absolutely adorable in the movie though! Jason Bateman was making me laugh so hard throughout the entire film and Jennifer Aniston was funny too, but not as funny as him. This was a very cute lil movie.....

Travis Get A "Lottery Ticket!" Night

This movie was really very funny especially the scenes with Loretta Devine! She made me laugh so hard when she was talking about Jesus on the bus scene! Lol! Besides, this movie pointing out the obvious to everyone---what would YOU do if you won the lottery, it shows something much more deeper, beyond comedy-it shows that no matter how true you think a friend is-they can be tested! Nobody wants to be around you when u are poor and have nothing-but once ur on top you will hear from long lost relatives, friends, all the people who let you down in the past, etc. Those types of people make me sick! That is a better lesson to be attained from this movie rather than what would you do if you won the lottery. People today are so self-absorbed and only want what they can get from people when they need them or want something from them and that is NOT the way to be!

"The Piranha 3D Opening" Experience Night With Mah Boys!!!

I was on the edge of my seat for the entire time I was watching this movie because I was anticipating on when the piranhas would come directly into my face and look so real and in front of me because the film was in 3D Format...There was only ONE scene where the killing & gore was brutal and so intense-I was expecting that for the whole movie, but I was wrong. That is why I was so scared to see it, the fish were killing but not in a 3D way and it was scary but not what I was expecting! I had no idea if this was a horror/adventure film or a porno because all of the nudity and pornographic imagery in it! Lol! All in all it was good and the way that it ended, there will be a sequel! Damn! Not looking forward to that....or am I??? Hmm.....

Saints vs. Houston Texans Practice!!!

There is a second pre-season game against the Texans this Saturday at the Superdome so they practiced today and I went to see them. No one stayed to autograph except for Drew Brees and when he did it began to rain and nothing was really writing as people waited in the rain to see if the ink would write!Lol! People love the man!
