Blogging has become a major part of my life now, thanks to my friend, Rachel for bringing me on-board to this. I blog about almost every major exciting thing that happens in my life: the good, the bad, the depressing moments, the exciting moments, etc. It is a good way for me to become more expressive and communicate with the ones close to me! I share a B'day with Matt Damon, Kristanna Loken, Chevy Chase, Paul Hogan, and Sigourney Weaver.

Filming HBO TV Series--"Treme: Season #2"
Well, today I was filming at Betsy's Pancake House on Canal Str. and it was only a short little 2 page scene starring, Actress Melissa Leo....Treme is basically a TV show set in New Orleans in a neighborhood called, Treme. It is a historical and Jazz/musical type show that caters more toward the background an historical places surrounding the city. The show got renewed for a second season and is currently filming. I arrived onto the set for 1:30pm, even though my regular call time was for 2:30pm, but they needed people in a hurry. I filled out the non-union voucher and I-9 forms in order to get paid and then we proceeded to the set where real food was placed at certain tables and along the bar to all the background patrons and the really odd things was that we had to take little bites and nibbles off of the food so that it could last us for the entire filming and the food was starring to go cold that when that happened, we had to really "pretend" to eat it. Everyone was agreeing that we should have been allowed to eat at least half of the food and by the time that the filming was successfully completed, the Diner had to throw away all of that good food. I do NOT NOT NOT think that was right, esp. not in this ROUGH ROUGH ROUGH economy!
